One edition. One ensemble. One seven-day performance period.
This agreement applies to Concert Scores editions purchased under these terms. The same permission covers the Digital and Printable files supplied with the purchased edition.
1. Licence holder and edition
One purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to the purchaser and one performer, ensemble or institution represented by that purchaser. An organisation should order in its own name or contact Concert Scores so that the licence holder can be identified. The permission covers only the edition named in the order. Different orchestrations and separately sold pieces are separate editions.
2. Reading, printing and rehearsing
The licence holder may retain the purchased PDFs, make reasonable backup copies, use them on its devices and print the score and parts reasonably needed by its participating musicians. These preparation and rehearsal permissions are not limited to the performance week. Both Digital and Printable folders are included in one purchase.
3. Sharing parts with musicians
The licence holder may provide participating musicians with the parts needed to prepare and perform the purchased edition with the licensed performer or ensemble. A conductor, librarian or organiser may hold the complete materials for that ensemble. Musicians must not pass the files to another ensemble or organiser or publish them online.
4. Live performance period
One purchase permits one or more live public concert performances of the purchased arrangement by the licensed performer or ensemble during a single period of seven consecutive calendar days. The period starts on the date of its first public performance, using the local date at the venue, and ends at the close of the seventh calendar day. The licence holder should keep a record of that first date and provide it on request. A performance after that period requires a new purchase for a new seven-day period. A separate independent performer, ensemble or organiser requires its own licence.
5. Limited scope of the arranger's permission
Concert Scores grants only those permissions for Georgii Cherkin's arrangement and supplied sheet music that it is entitled to grant. This purchase is not a general waiver of copyright or a substitute for permissions, reporting or fees that may be required from a collecting society, venue, composer or other rights holder. The organiser remains responsible for checking and arranging those permissions. The public-performance permission above applies only to the extent that Concert Scores controls the relevant rights.
6. Proof of the permission
On request, Concert Scores can provide a written confirmation identifying the purchaser, purchased edition and stated seven-day performance period. This confirmation documents the limited permission described here; it does not certify that all copyright or neighbouring-rights obligations for an event have been cleared.
7. Redistribution and other uses
Do not resell, give away, rent, lend, publicly upload or redistribute the score or parts outside the permitted ensemble use. Keep all composer, arranger, publisher and copyright credits intact. Recording, filming, streaming, broadcasting, synchronisation, adaptation and publication of a new edition are not included; contact Concert Scores about these uses. Nothing in this agreement limits rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
