Your edition, ready for rehearsal and performance.
This licence explains how a purchased Concert Scores edition may be used. The same licence covers its Digital and Printable files.
1. The licence holder
One purchase grants a non-exclusive licence to the purchaser and one performing ensemble or institution represented by that purchaser. An organisation should place the order using its name and contact details, or contact Concert Scores so that the intended licence holder can be recorded with the order.
2. Reading, printing and rehearsing
The licence holder may keep reasonable backup copies, read the PDFs on personal or ensemble devices, and print the score and the number of parts reasonably needed by its participating musicians. Both Digital and Printable folders are included in the same purchase, with no separate charge.
3. Sharing parts with musicians
For an orchestral or chamber edition, the licence holder may provide each participating musician with the part needed to rehearse and perform with the licensed ensemble. A conductor, librarian or organiser may hold the complete materials for that ensemble. A musician may not pass the files to another ensemble or organiser or publish them online.
4. Repeat performances
The licence has no expiry date and allows unlimited rehearsals and performances by the licence holder and the licensed ensemble, without another fee for these PDF materials. The materials must not be given, lent or transferred to another ensemble or organiser, even free of charge. A different independent ensemble or organiser must obtain its own licence. This clause concerns use of the supplied sheet music; other performance and recording rights are addressed below.
5. Redistribution and attribution
Do not resell, give away, rent, lend, upload publicly or redistribute the PDFs or printed copies outside the permitted use. An organiser may not pass the materials to another organiser or to an ensemble not covered by its licence. Keep the composer, arranger, publisher and copyright credits intact. A purchase does not transfer ownership of the arrangement or authorise publication of a new edition.
6. Performances, recordings and broadcasts
This PDF licence does not by itself clear public-performance, recording, broadcast, synchronisation or other rights administered by collecting societies or held by third parties. Organisers and producers are responsible for permissions required for their use. Please contact us about recordings, broadcasts, adaptations or another use outside this licence.
7. The purchased edition
The licence covers only the edition and files listed in the order. A different orchestration is a separate product. Editable notation files are not included. Nothing in this licence limits rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
